Yesterday we took a trip to the 'burbs and after we got back Phine was wired and had a hard time falling asleep so I lay down in bed with her and both of us fell asleep :-) No blogging.

Yesterday after the letter bomb incident we watched the local news and there was no mention of the bomb at all. Nothing on the Internets either. Just imagine if they detonated a bomb at the Liberty Bell! It would be all over the news for WEEKS! Independence Hall would be shut down for months ( Read more... )

One of Mia's best friends Rachel (x-Philly girl now living in Spain) came up to Paris to hang out with us! It's so great to meet up with someone you know so far from home.

Here are 2 things my kid can do...count and put her coat on by herself.
Here she counts to 5, but she usually counts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 12!
Sometimes she includes the 6, 10, 11 and adds a 15 to the end.

The coat thing K8 taught her from her bag of preschool teacher tricks.

Yesterday was Mia's and my 15 year anniversary. 15 years ago, after skateboarding across town to her apartment, my 22 year old self showed up at her front door.
