I harvested three nice red tomatoes today. My tomato plants became so heavy with unripe fruit that two of them fell over even though they had cages around them. They're planted in containers and the entire pot fell over in both cases. I relocated those plants to be near a cinder block wall and tied their branches and cages to the blocks to keep ( Read more... )

I made a big pot of stew earlier today. It turned out pretty tasty, so I'll be eating that for the next few days. I don't mind eating the same thing for several days in a row if I like it.

Lately I've been watching DVDs of the old TV show The Invaders, with Roy Thinnes. It's enjoyable and I'll be sorry to reach the last episode of the series ( Read more... )
