Okay, so...here's what's happend. ( TL;DR summery? Car is dead and I'm stuck in the wrong city at 4am )

So I just got back from the autoshop, and it's very much a good news/bad news situation.

For those of you outta the loop, about two months back, Mortis (my car) started makeing a grideing nose when I braked, but only sometimes. ( 'That's Not A GOOD Sound...' )

Mortis: The auto shop I use was closed this weekend, so I wasn't able to get Mortis towed over 'til today. But they slid him into an opening only a few hours later (they know me, they know Joe, they treat us well) and I got the call.

So, so, SOOO much better then we were fearing. His ignishion starter is shot. Totaly common and predictable ( Read more... )
