Had a great day today. Lots of driving. I dropped off mum to work, then picked up Ruu and CC and took a drive down Beach Road. I don't live near the beach, so I got excited over seeing glimpses of the ocean bay. Apparently the power pack for the router melted, which meant no internet. They didn't sell that kind of power pack any more, so dad had to go buy a new router. We had to wait til my sister got home to fix it up, though when she did it was ridiculously quick and easy. Just a matter of changing the plugs around. Have now completely finished re-watching/re-reading all aspects of Utena. It's somehow useful to watch the first 13 episodes after having watched the end and the middle of the series (in that order). I love love love the .hack//sign OST music. So much I think I will Actually Get it/them, the next time I see them. (I got the R.O.D. TV OSTs at Manifest, but was a bit disappointed in them. The Lain soundtrack was awesome and absolutely worth it though. I like a bit of dissonance ( Read more... )

Went for an hour driving again this morning, practicing left hand turns. Had to slow down to 5-10kph on the downhill sharp turn. Also failed to remember to do up seatbelt once and not drive down the right lane when going back to the garage. *sigh ( Read more... )
