The surgery went great. All the metal is out and I got to take it home. I'll take a picture and post very soon. It's hard to believe all that stuff has been inside me.

Tomorrow is surgery day. I'm getting an arthroscopy in the ankle joint, which sounds like it's gonna be complicated and painful and generally unpleasant. Basically, they pump my joint full of fluids, stick a small camera on a stick in there and poke around. Nothing much today, except for...

I went to the hospital for x-rays and an assessment of the pins in my leg and whether I could have them removed.

And I'm having surgery on May 28th!!

I am so very happy, I even profusely thanked the nurse whose only job was to provide me with the date.

Sorry for being such a dork, but someone took a picture of my scar at Alex' party last Saturday and I want to show off. For those of you who haven't grasped this yet, I belong to the rare breed of girls who think scars are coool!

Ahhh! I spent the night in my own bed! I just lay there, enjoying the quiet.

My parents went to visit some friends in Sweden, so I had my neighbors "babysitting" me. Good times. And now, I don't wanna leave!
