It's been a crazy couple of days. A good kind of crazy - but as it was crazy, I had to put up with some weird stuff along the way.

Saturday morning I was finally feeling up to doing something I'd been planning on for weeks - joining some of my co-workers on one of their boats to go on a BMO Boating Adventure. I wasn't over my sickness yet but I would've been well enough to work and have fun - and I felt the fresh sea air would be good for me. And I was right.

I was reading through the Metro, one of Vancouver's major free daily newspapers, at work over my lunch break today. I usually read it just to pass the time; nothing is special about the paper. It's somewhat shlocky and really, it's more of a 30 page Reader's Digest version of the two major dailies in Vancouver, The Vancouver Sun and The Province. I ( Read more... )

Wow. Just...wow. I can't believe this is going to be the torch being carried around the world and across Canada prior to the 2010 Winter Olympics here in Vancouver. The design is simple...unique...pleasant...relaxing.
