Kat update
Well...not so much an update, but a sign that her extended family is still alive and able to write back to me. I got an e-mail from Lexy this morning saying that a new hearing is on the way. Instead of paraphrasing I'll just cut and paste.

Weekend Update: The Understudy Did Me In
Well, a lot has happened this week. Let's hit the important issues:
- My car lives! $1700 later, it lives. I finally got it back Tuesday evening. I hope it can still last a few more years. I mean, it's acting fine - but now I'm worried my sound system is starting to go. It's not the most important thing, of course, but I likes me tunes.

Back in Summerland
Just a quick note this time; Kat swung by my work last night and we immediately left to drive to Summerland, and we got in at 11:49pm on the dot. The reason why I remembered that was because when we were in Merritt (about 90 mins away) I called that exact time. Kat was so far off; don't try to beat the master of road geekdom, love. Got Junk?
I just got back from my paid "try-out" day with 1-800-Got-Junk. It was good, despite being 9.75 hrs long. Lots of people needing random garbage tossed out - couches, TVs, BBQs, and the bane of my existance, a hospital bed we had to saw apart so we could get it out the door. If it wasn't for that I would've been home by 3pm, instead of 5 ( Read more... )
