It's funny how when you start working on one part of your business, it leads to a few other tasks opening up when you start breaking it down.

It's amazing the difference having breakfast makes. I can't focus on what tasks need to be done. Yesterday was a good day for being productive. While working studiously a main client project I was able to finally cook up a tasty duck rich stock from a carcass we had a couple of weekends ago. Hi gang. I recently quit my job and transitioned back to being a freelancer/self-employed. Now, I need insurance...STAT. I just received the COBRA statement from my previous job and it will cost almost $600 to supposedly get the same level of care. I am SO happy. I get to work on projects and have real time to take care of all the personal stuff I've let slide the last 6 months because of having to constantly having my nose to the grindstone. Next step is getting proper time management down. Also, taking a walk today to get cat food and some exercise. Bring on the self-employed life!

Monday was rather Godawful. My computer became rather ganked this weekend and I couldn't do any work so I had to work off a totally different computer all day that will eventually be mine.
