Laura and I are rather pleased with Recettear (pronounced Reck-ket-tear, I think). It's a clever, fun little game; it is essentially a lightweight JRPG, but you play the Genki Girl owner of the item shop rather than Generically Brooding Warrior Dude.

Laura bought an iPod last week. She's enjoying it tremendously; last weekend she spent hours lying awake in bed playing with the thing. (Bear in mind Laura usually switches off like a light at 9:30 or 10.)

Now Blizzard has announced their Armory iPhone app will soon interface with the World of Warcraft auction house.

Dragon Age: Origins raised some eyebrows with its available-on-release-day downloadable content (DLC). Some fans were cautiously optimistic. DA:O posts are still coming. Unfortunately I haven't had as much time to play the game as I'd like this week, nor have I really taken the time to turn my tangle of ideas into something worth reading. I hope to have one or two up this weekend.

I plan to post some thoughts on Dragon Age: Origins (spoiler: I like it). Actually, I have at least two posts' worth of ruminations, but first I thought I'd see if anybody of you are playing it. Have you tried it? If not, are you interested?
