So, my eldest son's latest fad: Writing stories. He's getting pretty good, actually; but then, he has been slacking on his multiplication problems a bit. He theorhetically starts kindergaten tomorrow.

Softest, fluffiest, most loving cat ever. Momma-cat to both of our kids. When they were infants, and would cry, she would run over, lick their heads, then sit up and guard them. She will be missed. A lot. 2001-2010. RIP Winnie. You were everything we could have ever wanted in a cat.

So, we tried to get out of our driveway tonight, figuring that it was mostly slushy in the walked-on / driven-on areas (yes, of our driveway, not the road).
