We (DH and I, as is usual) were fortunate enough to spend the afternoon with a most adorable little visitor. W found him near her apartment and didn't know what to do with her after the (no kill) humane society said they had no room for her. Today's activities centered around a wedding, the one of my partner in crime at work. Things started off well this morning, with my monthly visit to help maintain the rose Garden at the Botanical Center here in town. Another day was spent in the background by me, while DH toiled away making very coolish woodworkings. On a happier note, I was able to go out with the girls today at lunch. It was such a good time. They got me psyched up for the picnic tomorrow (company sponsored, but usually relaxed). Today, I taught my cube-mates -that is, room mates, uhn, what ever they are (I miss partitions!) how to say the chair is horrible im Japanese. It is about the best I can contribute. Today was an interesting day for a day of running around and shopping without buying much. ( Cut for abject rampant utilitarian consumerism. )

Prevalent in our city is the use of spotlights at car dealerships and new restaurants. I find it to be so irritating. Is it supposed to draw people in? Am I supposed to follow it to it's source?
