The Little Things

Jul 03, 2006 23:22

Another day was spent in the background by me, while DH toiled away making very coolish woodworkings. I assembled a couple of lamps, washed the handwashings painted some trim, hung a painting, recovered a scratching post for the kitties, caulked the holes in th universe - that sort of thing.

I made a concerted effort to finish off the master bathroom owner punchlist items, since the renovation ended almost six months ago. Maybe then I can post some pictures. The new tub has provided weekly enjoyment for the sore muscle relief. I will likely have to clean it well before the photo shoot. We selected a faucet for it that is old world and modern in the same throw and is really the focal point of the room. It has limb-bonking hazard to boot.

I don't really have a whole lot else to add. There has not been a lot of time spent netting or in contact with the general outside world. There is much to be done in the way of downloading photo's of the trip, updating of the Quicken and hackzoring of the Linux box stil to be done so tomorrow will strive to be along those lines. It will be a quiet holiday. I did get a chance to visit the babyblog of a college buddy of DH and mine. Eeee..smiley baby pictures. It is much greater to not hear the screamings and feel the spitups. They flew out of town much for the baby's comfort yesterday afternoon and called about the blog and to say hi. It would have been much fun to hang out and visit; but I can certainly understand and sympathize with the little bugger wanting to be sick in her own home. I am the same way.

I can write more, but my contacts are gooey and it is throwing off my not-so-much-by-touch typing. Tomorrow then, folks, if I am good (and if July 2006 is anything like previous years). Goodnight.

friends, diy
