Despite my body's best efforts to thwart me, I had a nice weekend that included:

• 18 miles on the bicycle. (and saddle sores for not wearing my padded shorts. der.)
• quality time with my favourite baby.
• delicious foods in good company.
• errands with the monkAy.
• Lego Batman Whack (hooray!)

Went out dancing Friday night. Hadn't been out in quite a while and I had a pretty great time. The music was good, the dancing was good and the company was superfab. Made me wonder why I don't do that more often. Then I remembered that LA clubs are fickle and it's not always that fun. heh ( Read more... )

on the new bike this weekend. Other than my ass being sore (from that stupid tiny seat) and sunburn in crazy places, I feel pretty great. I am sore in places not used to being sore from pedaling with cages. I didn't realize that the simple upward pull would have so much impact. I'm looking forward to a lot more miles ( Read more... )

Went to bed early.
Rode 13+ miles.
Ate chinese food.
Rediscovered yummy things at Trader Joes.
Coloured easter eggs. (goth egg ftw)
Ran Sadie ragged at the dog park.
Watched the rest of Underworld: Evolution.
Watched 11:14.

Am contemplating ways to spend any tax refunds or that stupid economic stimulation thing. Like this or this, perhaps.

Friday night, I was a total party animal and went to bed at 6pm. I was a little exhausted.

Up bright and early saturday morning (after 13 hours of sleep) to meet with the in-laws for breakfast. Thanked my lucky stars when that was over, then met up with thegodofthor, prizmdonna and the wee one for a quick trip downtown. Dinner, then bed at 830pm. \mm ( Read more... )

Friday night, we did FDF and there was much tastiness. After, there was Bunker, which was less tasty and more chewy, but not meaty tasting.
