More than 66 miles
on the new bike this weekend. Other than my ass being sore (from that stupid tiny seat) and sunburn in crazy places, I feel pretty great. I am sore in places not used to being sore from pedaling with cages. I didn't realize that the simple upward pull would have so much impact. I'm looking forward to a lot more miles.
I really need to get my hands on a good pair of riding shorts. And not those ghey spandex ones - but shorts that look like shorts, only with scads of ass-padding. They really do make a difference.
I also spent some quality time in the jacuzzi this weekend. Nothing beats a good soak after a long ride (except for mb ice cream). Lawdy, I miss that rooftop jacuzzi at The Jessica. But this one was just as nice, and worked and was filled with good company.
This weekend was positively nice. Hope yours was too.
