We're going camping. Site is reserved. Weather will be chilly, but not unbearable. And finally, I'll get a little getaway. Nothing but me, bj, bug and the trees.

Saturday afternoon, we had lunch at Cafe Vida in Pacific Palisades. The food was tasty, and the service was decent, as long as you asked for what you needed. The menu had lots of things that sounded worth trying.

I spent last weekend in AZ romping at a dog park, fighting mad hordes at the First Friday ArtWalk and hanging with with the fam chasing wildflowers at Picacho Peak. If my brother sends them to me, I'll show you the photos I took. It was funny that I saw more wildflowers on the side of the freeway on the way home than I did in the park. Friday night, I was a total party animal and went to bed at 6pm. I was a little exhausted.

Up bright and early saturday morning (after 13 hours of sleep) to meet with the in-laws for breakfast. Thanked my lucky stars when that was over, then met up with thegodofthor, prizmdonna and the wee one for a quick trip downtown. Dinner, then bed at 830pm. \mm ( Read more... )
