Weekend Update
It's been a long time since I've done a weekend update. Or at least it feels that way.
The roommate left this weekend for her tour de caribe. bj & I were excited about having some alone time at the apt, until we remembered: this week he goes to FL for his winter meetings. Fail. So I was up at 430 this morning taking him to the airport. Airplane highlight: Richard Simmons on his flight.
Spent some quality time in the valley with bebe & co. Picked up some more awesome pots to plant with new wonderful things.
Discovered the most awesome nursery EVER in WeHo. They had dozens of beautiful orchids (which I passed by), as well as loads of other interesting and fascinating plants. The guys who work there were friendly and very very helpful. If you go, take your pottery; they pot your purchases for free (and their pots are Way too expensive anyway). Win. I totally give this place 5 stars, 2 snaps AND a circle.
Now our humble abode is a happy jungle of plant life. I find it very soothing.
I also found King Taco's all-meat burrito very soothing to MAH BELLEH. I may end up there again for lunch. /ponderous
