Fri, 8/17: Took off for CA in the morning. Everything went pretty smoothly. I had plenty of entertainment for myself for the short flight, between all my electronic toys and a book. I am pretty happy that I have a laptop, I've found it pretty useful this entire trip. I do have to say I find shorter flights much more pleasant than longer flights ( Read more... )

Fri, 4/20: Taught kid's class without John for the first time. There were only 3 kids that night, so John thought it'd be a good change for Susan and I to handle them ourselves. That was an interesting experience. I'm just glad it was all well ( Read more... )

Thu, 4/12: Watched my Gunbuster DVD set w/ damienroc. Man, I swear, I will never get tired of watching that anime. It's too damn classic. Though I have to admit I was a bit disappointed to find that one of the songs in the background music was changed. I wonder why they did that. But I still got all emotional at the end. Fri, 4/6: Pretty uneventful, as I was still feeling a bit sick. Well enough to interact with people, as I still went to help teach kids class (though I didn't think about how scratchy all the talking would make my throat), but I didn't stay for Advanced KB. Fri, 3/30: Kind of a long Friday night, too. Did Adv KB as usual, which was pretty fun as we did some some good engagment exercises. Not quite full sparring, but either contact drills, or sparring w/ restricted tools (only kicks, only certain types of kicks, etc). Fri, 2:16: Just teaching class and Advance KB as usual. I picked up Wii Play before going to class and popped it in that night. I really like the pool game that comes with it, I really wish it had a darts game too...
