Rikku had handwavily picked up Ruba from Fight Club while Rede was still kicking butt and taking names, because Ruba was wee and had an earlier bedtime. Of course, Ruba was too wound up to actually go to sleep any time soon. Rikku had just resigned herself to that when inspiration struck.

When Rikku woke up, she was relieved to see that she was, in fact, sixteen again. Sixteen: all sorts of good. 5'2" felt pretty damn tall this morning.

Rikku was sprawled on her bed, chewing a pen and composing a letter to Yuna. A way, way overdue letter to Yuna. Which was getting longer and longer and longer. See, this was a good reason not to stall on letters: they turned into massive thousand-page novels. At least, they did if you were Rikku and couldn't ever shut up.

Okay. So apparently being "Old School" included a bunch of cops showing up and pointing guns at Rikku and Mel while making a getaway in the Deadpoolmobile with an ATM chained to the fender.
