Hakkai hadn't been back to his own room in well over a day and as odd as it was, the usual small smile that graced his expression was no where in sight. No, the brunette, while looking healthier than he had in weeks, looked a little spooked.

The familiar feel of darkness, he knew, but there was something else he wasn't used to feeling mired with it, and he wasn't too keen on changes right now.

He paused when he felt Hakkai, immediately looking around for the man. "Hakkai?"

Hearing his name made him pause as well, brow furrowed a little as he stared at the other from around the corner he'd just turned.

".... something's not right."

He blinked, peering at himself, then back. "Can you pin down what?"

Zelda was caught up in her own thoughts as she walked down the corridors. The Princess had heard of a festival going on, and she wondered if someone would be willing to go with her.

As she was walking, Zelda felt a strange presence, though strange seemed the wrong word. Whomever she was approaching had an air of darkness about them, but something was off, but what, she could not place.

There was someone ahead of her, with long silver hair and wearing similar robes to her own but hers was a set of deep violets and blues. "Are you here for the festival?"

He stilled, then looked over at the woman, curiosity running over his face. "I was there earlier actually."

"Oh? Was it entertaining?" The Princess had wanted to go, but going alone was not what she had in mind. "Would you mind going with me? I do not really wish to attend alone."

"It was, to an extent, but the Light and I don't tend to... get along for long periods of time."

Gone, and returning, only to be thrown out again, and brought again, had been rather a confusing experience. What was reality? What could he do? In reality, he'd only been at home for about a day before being yanked back, as odd as it was

He hadn't felt that sensation since before his rest. Pausing, he waited to see if the man was the one he thought he was.

"Master!!" Upon seeing him, Cloud gave him a bright grin and ran as best as he could with the kimono on, and immediately wrapped his arms around Sephiroth in a hug. His wings fluttered, stretching out.

He froze, then reached forward to wrap his arms securely around the blond.

She was wandering through the countless lanterns that had just been released into the air. There was something so surreal at seeing these paper lamps floating towards the skies and becoming ephemeral stars themselves.

There was a familiar presence around, but it was not where she was at the moment. Her gut told her that it was someone she knew. So she made her way towards them and smiled softly at finding out who it was. Of all places, she did not expect him to see him here, though considering this was a strange place to begin with, anything seemed possible.

Wearing a blue and gold kimono and with her hair braided and tied into a tight bun, Tifa walked up towards Sephiroth. "Hello again," she said with a smile.

He paused and peered down at the woman. "Tifa."

"How are you doing? Did you just come back from the festival?" She knew he was not the Sephiroth from her world, but wondered if he had ever been to one of these festivals before.

"I did. It was very... colorful."

I am obviously the most observant person ever.

"Sephiroth?"

She stopped when she rounded the corner and spotted him, blinking a couple of times. Wait a minute, something seemed... Weird about him. It'd probably take her a little bit to identify what, but at the time she didn't know. And she wasn't even going to ask about the Japanese robe he was wearing.

Whether Adela would be the distraction he was looking for or not was anyone's guess.

Okay, definitely the one she knew. But something was definitely weird about him. Wordlessly she ran up to him, slowing to a stop once she was beside him and looking over him, "Something happen to you?"
