A Guiding Light / No Aphro / Place of your choice

Ever since he'd woken from the months' long sleep, things had been different, odd, around the hotel. The people he knew had either vastly changed or were simply... gone. It caused a strong sense of disconnection, and he let out a deep, irritated breath, his fingers smoothing down the two dark wings at his hips absently, feathers a bit ruffled ( Read more... )

Zelda was caught up in her own thoughts as she walked down the corridors. The Princess had heard of a festival going on, and she wondered if someone would be willing to go with her.

As she was walking, Zelda felt a strange presence, though strange seemed the wrong word. Whomever she was approaching had an air of darkness about them, but something was off, but what, she could not place.

There was someone ahead of her, with long silver hair and wearing similar robes to her own but hers was a set of deep violets and blues. "Are you here for the festival?"

[ooc: have an actual Princess of Light. All kinks are fine save for no toilet play or maiming. Tags will be slow during the week.]

He stilled, then looked over at the woman, curiosity running over his face. "I was there earlier actually."

"Oh? Was it entertaining?" The Princess had wanted to go, but going alone was not what she had in mind. "Would you mind going with me? I do not really wish to attend alone."

"It was, to an extent, but the Light and I don't tend to... get along for long periods of time."

"Oh..," she looked down at her hands and folded them over her sash. "Then perhaps our encounter may not be a wise one," she said. There was a darkness inside the Princess, but it was checked and kept under control. It only came out when her body would be taken over, and she hoped not to have another experience like that ever again.

He tilted his head slowly. "Why? You seem balanced enough."

She bowed her head and smiled softly. "If I am not careful, I can be easily taken over," her voice soft as she remembered the time when Ganon had difused himself into shadow particles and melded into her body.

"One has nothing to do with another. You have your own darkness."

"I do," she said with a rueful smile. "Light and darkness are of the same coin; one cannot exist without the other."

Becoming a little restless at simply standing still, Zelda felt like for a promenade. "Would you care to walk with me? We can avoid the festival if you'd like."

There gardens near the festival, but they were far enough that the only sounds audible would be the muffled murmurs of people talking and the dull glow of lamps as they were released into the air.

"Untrue, there are those without darkness and those without Light." He shook his head at once, but drew up to her side anyway. "But I will walk wth you."
