It was with thoughts not unlike this that Cloud huffed in irritation to himself, feeling terribly uncomfortable in such a place of Light. It felt like it itched his skin and pounded in his brain - invasive and bothersome - even after he left the damn place. He knew that pain medication would not be able to help him - it rushed through his system way too fast to be of any good.
Even so, he found himself dressed for the festivities, wearing a pure white kimono that was, at the sleeves, dyed the rich red color of fresh blood. It was pretty, and reminded him of the times that he woke up with betta fish fins. He'd lingered long enough to pocket some sweets afterward, but he couldn't stand it any further.
His wings were out, half-wrapped around him as he sulked in a corner of a hallway as he waited for his head to stop pounding, his wings dripping darkness and letting it extend along his shadow.
At least... until he sensed a familiar darkness. Eyes widening in surprise, and then warming in delight, he made a mad dash to follow the trail. Sure, he felt the Light that Sephiroth also held, but for the moment, he chalked it up to his headache.

"...The hotel, maybe? It's weird. Like... you're you, but you also have that - it's there, but not there, but there." He frowned in obvious confusion, not sure how else to explain it.
