Went with Milla, John, and Kate to see Five Finger Death Punch at Ram's Head Live on 11/21/2011. Hatebreed and All that Remains opened for them, along with some band called Rains.

We got there in time to hear some of Rains. I didn't hear anything distinctive and was sure we didn't miss anything as we use the lavatories and checked the merch booths. ( Read more... )

KIX at JAXX

Went to see KIX (again) with my buddy Tony and his dad. was pretty packed. 2nd nite they played there in a row. As always a very good or great show. Saw some of the old JAXX regulars (Pat Benatar, mini Hogan, Jay, some roadies). They seemed to have cleaned it up a bit more since last I was there, they removed one of the bars too.

Went to see GWAR with John and Kate yesterday (12/29)

Went to DUFFY's and had some dinner and SARNAC beers. Happy ish of hours. Some dude was dominating the big game hunt video game  next to us.

Went to FM Karaoke (Rockingville) this time, as Brigid was in town and I thought it would be a good idea to karaoke it up.

Was a little cheaper than the Wheaton Place, but about the same selection. Some people alleged they had a bit better selection, but I am fairly confident it was basically the same.

Went to Karaoke for birthday after feasting on delicious Mi Rancho fajitas, et al.

They always have something cool there, it seems. This time it was pretzels, then a fruit spread (birthday fruit apparently), +1 free hour, and then the older Korean lady owner serenading me with "Happy Birthday" along with a shot of some sort of tequila as I left X_X:

Went this past Saturday to see the M3 fest with my Buddy Tony, his bro Johnny and their dad. I got there a bit too early, or they left a bit too late, so I got chick fil a, drank a colt 45 in the mall parking lot, and then walked over to the venue. Yesterday there was a "Customer Appreciation Day" at the cafeteria downstairs at lunch.

I saw the Lobster-fellows lined up, nice and red, waiting to be eaten. They served a whole lobster (~1lb), corn on cob, some steamed veggies, potatoes, and a roll, for about $11 (American). I checked out, grabbing a cream's soda as well. My old ( Read more... )
