There's a TV Tropes page for Ecce Romani, the basic Latin textbook I studied with my mother as a tween.  Ah, the memories.  It was a lot of fun at the time, but all I remember of my Latin is that Cornelia was puella strenua, while her friend Flavia was puella however-you-say-lazy.  Sedenta?

For, jeez, weeks now, I have been permanently one or two chapters behind on my online French exercises.  Every time I nearly get caught up, the class is assigned a new batch and I pass the deadline for the old stuff, and have to finish exercises with "OVERDUE" written at the top.  The fact that we're not penalized for late homework, at all, kind of ( Read more... )
