Oh, thaaaaat’s more like it.

I haven’t laughed that much over an episode in months. And usually, I keep pausing episodes out of boredom to make ranty notes, but I didn’t do that once this time. Praise the Lord, or… Pamela Davis, who wrote this episode. I don’t recognise her name, so I’m assuming they got in some fresh blood. Which they NEEDED.

HOUSE HAS A DOG THAT LOOKS JUST LIKE MY DOG.

Okay, I liked this episode. They’re still not exactly memorable - I don’t think I’ll be in a huge hurry to rewatch the second half of this season. Now instead of something being off, off like a wonky version of Grey's Anatomy off, they’re just kind of dull.

The switch from the funny Wilson/Cuddy/House subplot to the more serious patient arc was a little bit jarring, but other than that, I think I enjoyed this one. It was really intense and… quiet, you know? Which was a nice change from the cheap stunts and annoyingly persistent, out-of-nowhere relationship arcs going on recently.

Huh. I liked that episode a lot. For a start it was definitely rewatch worthy, which they haven't been for a while now. And it was kind of hilarious and old school - breaking and entering, House vs. Cameron on a patient, duckling interaction, little Wilson and Cuddy, House/Wilson banter. Me likey. I still can’t believe House last night wasn’t some glorious dream.

That was THE single weirdest, most cracktastic, Grey’s Anatomy-esque episode of that show ever made. And I FUCKING LOVED IT.
