plato's test results were excellent! all of the numbers improved, and his phosphorus is actually in the normal range! i am so happy :)

our halloween party saturday was a success despite some piece of shit (i HOPE this turns out not to be one of our friends) stealing 2 girls' wallets. katie still made herself have fun regardless and laurel didn't notice til after she left. i'm pretty pissed about that, but they're gonna catch the person who did it anyway, as they used laurel's card ( Read more... )

this morning heather and i took plato to the vet to learn how to do the subcutaneous fluids. it was actually a lot easier than i thought it would be! i was really scared to have to poke him with a needle, but it went through his scruff easily and he didn't give too much resistance. mostly he didn't wanna be told he had to sit still. the fluids make ( Read more... )

got my roots touched up and did my hair some nice autumn-y colors. the idea was for my hair to look like fall leaves. i am quite happy with it and i am glad i didn't bleach out any of the old color. the yellow over faded pink turned a nice orange, and the other colors over faded purple just made them look less bright, exactly what i was hoping for ( Read more... )
