plato and yuki had vet appointments today. plato for his crf bloodwork checkup, and yuki because she hasn't seen a vet in a long time and i thought it was about time for at least a checkup. i'll be taking socks and mystic soon too, i'm waiting to see if heather can find out what vet mike's aunt and uncle used to bring them to so they can get their records.
plato is doing excellent. he had started giving me lots of trouble trying to do sub-q fluids so i gave up trying. luckily the vet says he isn't dehydrated so he's doing just fine without them! i'm sooooooo happy about that. he gained a little bit more weight and he's almost back up to 14 pounds again! which is actually his normal weight before he got sick, he's a big boned boy. yuki is doing great except that she needs her teeth cleaned cause she's starting to get gingivitis. they got her up to date on vaccines and took some bloodwork to make sure she's ok for the teeth cleaning, since she needs to be under anesthesia for that. i'm gonna get them all kitty cat toothbrushes next hehe. i'll get their bloodwork results in a few days.
