I've been thinking a lot about the time that I spent volunteering at the dog shelter last year, and I think I'm going to try really hard to find somewhere in Texas to volunteer over the summer. I formatted my hard drive on Sunday. I'm still working on getting everything back to normal. My computer is a bitch when it comes to finding drivers. It didn't come with a CD of them or anything, and Acer's website is a piece of shit and makes everything difficult. I've had to rely on Google and guessing and checking for most of it. My Two-Dimensional Design class is throwing me a birthday party on Friday. That's pretty cool, I think.

Oh yeah, tomorrow is my birthday.

Well, it looks like Alyssa and I are in with the COOL KIDS on campus, i.e. the attractive assholes who play hacky sack in the middle of campus and give weird looks to outsiders. I am frightened and unsure of whether I want to be a part of that or not.

But hey, it's good to have connections. And if I ever want any drug, I know where to find it.

Earlier my best friend gave me a hug. This is probably the second time that has ever happened, and the first time it has been initiated by her. It made me feel really, really good. It quite literally made my day.
