Okayokay. Does anyone have experience for ripping movies from Sony Handycam mini-DVDs? I have been trying to do this for DAYS now and stuff keeps getting messed up. When using the camera's software, two of the DVDs rip correctly, but the third will only play in certain programs. I have a laptop now.

Welp, my computer broke for good. I might be able to get one sometime next month, but I am pretty well fucked until then. Luckily there is a nice computer lab right in my residence hall.

I formatted my hard drive on Sunday. I'm still working on getting everything back to normal. My computer is a bitch when it comes to finding drivers. It didn't come with a CD of them or anything, and Acer's website is a piece of shit and makes everything difficult. I've had to rely on Google and guessing and checking for most of it. I have a feeling that my computer is slowly disintegrating (favorite word).  Things stop working pretty much every other time I turn it on.  This time it's Windows Defender (which is pretty much useless, but the fact that Windows Defender has been disabled by something other than my own two hands has me mildly worried) and my tablet drivers.

to mention that I bought a RAM upgrade. I've got 2gb now. It's supahnice compared to the 1gb I had previously, especially for things like Photoshop and even iTunes.

I need to catch up on my service project journal entries. I'm three entries behind, and the completed journal is due on Monday.

I managed to borrow a really, really awful computer (96MB RAM, 6GB HDD, 400MHz CPU) from school for the period that I will be without my laptop. It's pretty much only suitable for internet and word processing use, but that's all I really need.
