I have a feeling that my computer is slowly disintegrating (favorite word). Things stop working pretty much every other time I turn it on. This time it's Windows Defender (which is pretty much useless, but the fact that Windows Defender has been disabled by something other than my own two hands has me mildly worried) and my tablet drivers.
The other day while angelheadedhpst was here for STUDYCON 09, it started making a really pleasant scraping sound. I'm pretty sure that it was the fan. Again, not a hugely important part, but I still would rather not hear scraping noises coming from my computer. Anyway, I gave it a little "love tap" and the noise went away.
I guess I don't treat my lappy as well as I could (not my fault it makes a great cutting mat / bongo drum). I do love him, though, and I'd hate to see him pass on.
