3. The release of McFarlane's Movie Maniacs III Snake Plissken action figure.
4. The way Lord of the Rings was handled as a movie series.
5. Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis on the PC.

This was hard as humanoid means anything human like... it left me with quite a range of most gigantic creatures. It also rules out King Kong who I planned for this list but apes are certainly humanoid. Along with Kong goes Mighty Joe Young. 1) The only way to make a good anti-hero is to murder their family. There are plenty of other ways to make a person cynical. Killing their family is just one of many. Can't we have them fired and their house burned down so they have to live on the streets with their family? Surely that would make someone just as bitter ( Read more... )

Micheal Crichton passed away yesterday from cancer. This is sad considering over the past few weeks I purchased and started re-reading all of his books. The writing and the mixture of science, horror, suspense and sci-fi in them is awesome. I've always loved his writing and it's sad to think there will be no more books from him.
