1) The only way to make a good anti-hero is to murder their family. There are plenty of other ways to make a person cynical. Killing their family is just one of many. Can't we have them fired and their house burned down so they have to live on the streets with their family? Surely that would make someone just as bitter.
2) The odd man out is NEVER ever accepted by the group. Why can't they reject the attention hog for once? I mean sometimes the odd one is well liked.
3) The aliens with the best tech are always nefarious SOBs. Where are the aliens with super weapons that aren't out to pillage, plunder and otherwise rape the universe?
4) The loyal partner of the main badass cop always gets injured. What didn't anyone teach them how to duck and cover?
5) All chicks that do drugs do girls too. That is all over so many movies and books. What do women on drugs forget they can be hetero? Or is it just that suppressed lesbians are freed from the closet by drugs? Give me a fucking break.
