So in a funny turn of events both the piece I wrote and the one written for me were Egyptian mythology based.

Mine: Seem a Saint , When Most I Play the Devil. It is a retelling of the myth surrounding the longest night of the year. I thought it was appropriate for a challenge for Yule. I really loved writing this piece.

Today is H.G. Wells birthday. Go check out the Google search page logo. It's cute. Wells has written so many of the classics of Science Fiction; The Time Machine, The First Men in the Moon, The War of the Worlds, The Invisible Man, The Island of Doctor Moreau, The Shape of Things to Come. How goes that cleaning project? Pretty damned good. Aside from the fact I now have three students I'm tutoring, one day a week of modeling and one day a week at the museum.
