I got perhaps 9 hours of sleep last night.
Laptop at 50%.

The solar panel was charging even in the early low-angle light (0.6-0.8 amps), and the battery's up to 13.5v, so it will probably hit the charge cut-off soon and not do much charging today. I guess I should be using the laptop more? I could start ( Read more... )

My office phone will tell me what calls it received - the caller's number - and whether I answered them. Why doesn't it also tell me what calls it forwarded? When I miss those forwarded calls, my cell phone (my only forwarding target) shows them as coming from the agency's main number, so I don't even know whether they ( Read more... )

I was responding to some email and thinking about how many more photos I take after going digital. I seldom took the marginal shots when I had to pay for film and processing/printing. Then I got to wondering about how many other things that have changed and we've essentially discarded the previous methods.
