I got an old weed whacker from Freecycle today.This item was orphaned by the former owners of my house. .... it has a 3/8 horsepower motor, and is rated at 4 amps. It requires attachment to an electric power cord. It is NOT a cordless tool. The tool has some oxidation on the handle and the cap that covers the spool of string is loose.
