I got a weird call from the Birmingham University physics department welfare officer. He's retiring and wanted to know how I was getting on. My sleeping pattern's gone crazy consistently for the first time in a while. I've been getting up after midday for a while now and going to bed at 2/3 in the morning. I don't know how to characterise life at the moment. I had a really bad moment on Saturday where I lost it utterly and ended up in tears and ended up self-harming a bit. I'm now quite sore because I punch very hard. But, on the whole, things are going pretty well. I don't really understand my reactions at the moment and I don't make any sense ( Read more... )

Finally, my first term is over and my much, much needed Christmas holiday begins. Because we've finished on the last day of posting, I haven't managed to get my Christmas cards posted, even though I wrote them all. I haven't really been coping at school and that means two sets of problems. The first one is the fact that I'm not coping and the second set are to do with the fact that I need to cover that up to give myself the space to solve the first set.
