Argh! I hate when authors forbid fanfiction to be written of their stories.. I mean, if I ever get published, and if my books get popular enough that people want to write fanfiction, I would consider it an honor. It means the reader wants to spend more time in your world, with your characters. It means your writing connected to them that much.

So today was parent-teacher conferences, open to whoever wanted to go. My dad hadn't met my teachers before, whereas my mom had, so he decided to go. I went as well, to show him where to go and because I was curious about what the teachers would say about me.

A couple years ago, my sister was attending St. Olaf College in Minnesota. There she made friends with a girl named Katherine Ann Olson. Katherine was a smart, cautious girl who didn't take stupid risks, and was a wonderfully kind person.
