So last night there was a bit of mom drama. My mom recently just got a new job, as a nurse in a veterans' center, after two years of not working. It's not exactly what she wants, as she definitely prefers surgery to old people care, but at least it's something and she's getting back into the working world. She's currently in the week of orientation ( Read more... )

Argh! I hate when authors forbid fanfiction to be written of their stories.. I mean, if I ever get published, and if my books get popular enough that people want to write fanfiction, I would consider it an honor. It means the reader wants to spend more time in your world, with your characters. It means your writing connected to them that much.
