Who is that masked man? Because he is FINE.

So today in my creative writing class I had an epiphany.. It was partially amusing, and partially made me afraid for myself.

I have a thing for men in masks. And capes. Capes and masks..

V from V for Vendetta. The Phantom from Phantom of the Opera. Various masked superheros. Zorro was pretty hot. And Tuxedo Mask, oh my god it reaches back so far back into my childhood!

Li from my creative writing class was excited to hear that I thought the Phantom was hot, because apparently nobody else she knows does..? Yes, I was voicing my realizations about myself [My fetish? Really awkward word, but maybe I should just face the reality of it.] out loud, because in my creative writing class there are no filters between one's brain and one's mouth. Li commiserated with me on the Zorro bit as well. And then another girl, Helen, who was sitting nearby piped up, "You two are going to have the weirdest role play sex ever."

I love how hilarious and open that class is. Helen was drawing on this cardboard-y box occasionally, and at one point Mr. X came over and picked up the box, looking into it. "What are you doing?" Kelley asked. "I have to check and make sure nobody's smuggling anything," he replied jokingly. "Without you testing it first, you mean?" Kelley said. So then Helen explained that the box was a thing that her therapist had her do. Her explanation of it was hilarious, what with her expressions and everything, but basically.. It's a feelings box. She's supposed to decorate the outside according to how she presents herself to the world, and then decorate the inside according to her inner self and things nobody knows.

Naturally we all started suggesting things she should put in it to freak out her therapist. My suggestion was just painting the inside red and filling it with a bunch of razors. Others were like, "No, no, paste Bright Eyes lyrics in it!" "Just put the whole CD inside!" I chirped.

Then Li said, "We should all make feelings boxes!"

"OH MY GOD, YES!" I exclaimed, way too excited about the suggestion.

Mr. X nixed the idea, saying it was stupid, but Li and I stood together. "I don't care," Li said, "I'm just going to bring in a bunch of little boxes for us all and make it be my free-write." "Mr. X," I announced, "Li is doing a free write tomorrow AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT."

I will be so very, very sad when this class ends. I will cry.
