I love how this song switches atmospheres from being dark and depressing into uplifting and hopeful. 'Honoho' is an old-style and uncommon way to say 'flames' (people usually use the word "Honou" instead.) I love this song, it has such a soothing atmosphere with romantic lyrics. The live version is much slower and more ballad-like than the original recording though.
Kusano-san looks so different with spiky hair (o__o)
I think this song is about a man's plight for his fate to change. He pleads to 'Masayume' (prophetic dream) to give him another chance to change himself after seeing a dream that the relationship with the woman he loves will end.
This song has an interesting melody that is inspired by an Okinawan folk song. The song incorporates the use of the Sanshin (japanese sitar), that is played by Miwa-san and the melody follows a Ryukyuan scale of notes. Nam pla is a type of fish sauce.
This is one of my favorite songs from Spitz. It has wonderful lyrics about being reborn as spring comes. The build-up is wonderful, and I love the easy-going feel of the song. \(^O^)/
