Had a wonderful dinner at Harvest this evening with an equally wonderful someone. It had been some time since I had been there last and it was surprisingly well populated for a Monday evening.

I am now watching "The 8th Plague" via Netflix streaming.

I have been holding off turning on the heat for as long as possible; it is a sort of contest I hold with myself--in the summer it's the AC and in the winter, the heat. Earlier this afternoon, I took Phoebe for a walk. As we passed MJ's house, she came galloping up the road to greet us, so we headed over to her house. Omar, who lives next door to MJ, heard us and his little head popped up in the window and he began barking. Tomorrow, I plan to load up the dog and some supplies into the NEW CAR [1] and head out in a west-northerly direction to scout out sites from which the Leonids may be viewed.
