CBS will premiere the new seasons of both NCIS (Tuesday 09/22 8/7c) and Numb3rs (Friday 09/25 10/9c) this week.  Time to set the VCRs, TiVos, DVRs, and whatever else we use these days.  (And if your machine conks out, remember that it will be online the next morning. ~g~)

When I got home last night, I was exhausted with this cold that just won't go away, and didn't manage to do anything more constructive than eat dinner in front of an old NCIS episode on Pax and drag myself to bed.

I caught up on this week's NCIS this evening.  When I saw Torri Higginson reprising her role as Dr. Jordan Hampton, I had two thoughts almost simultaneously:

• "Golly, I hope someone alerted havocthecat."
• "Hey, tv-elf, remember when you said -- oh, right. D**n. Miss you."
