I caught up on this week's NCIS this evening.  When I saw Torri Higginson reprising her role as Dr. Jordan Hampton, I had two thoughts almost simultaneously:

• "Golly, I hope someone alerted havocthecat."

I caught up on the most recent episode of Bones today (recorded last Wednesday, episode 4.03 "Man in the Outhouse").  I spent most of it wondering why I was watching.  ( mildly-spoilery gripes )

Given how this week's episode of Bones (3.14 "The Wannabe in the Weeds") ended, and the issues trampled on the way there, it's perhaps peculiar that I'm still hung up on an exchange in the first scene, in which Brennan and Booth forget a point of their own canon.  ( Minor Spoiler )

I just caught up on "The Man in the Mud," the first back-from-the-strike episode of Bones.  I'm unsure why I'm still watching this show, except for the draw of serials; first season was a different era.

I find that setting the VCR is still much superior to watching television shows online, if only for fast-forwarding through commercials.  If I were truly passionate about a show, I suppose I would visit its official site and watch it there as well, to keep its hit count up and woo advertisers and the longevity they bring, but nothing is calling to ( Read more... )
