Today was busy. Library was empty... which necessitated that I "do something productive" so I finally completed paperwork that I should have done a while ago. Well, it looks like the apt complex can't get the carpet in in time for me to move in on Saturday. Key collection will now happen on Tuesday... though I don't think I'll actually get to move in the middle of the week... that might be considered crazy. Well, the trip has been completed. Birdy and I are resident at the Nest. It's actually bigger than it looked in the pictures. It used to be a garage! Good... lots of windows, storage area I didn't know was there, bathtub/shower (I was worried there wouldn't be a tub). Bad... cracks between the board in the walls where sunshine can come through. So I've heard jokes about cowboys and Wyoming... but really! We arrived in Cheyenne just in time for a huge RODEO! Cowboys everywhere. So, I'm proud of myself, I've managed to get on paper the beginnings of my thesis: the introduction, section on the music of the times, and the section on fragments. All I have left for this section are the composer bios and the historical background sections, all of which I should be able to complete tomorrow (knock on wood)
