This dawns on me about every three days. And the stupidly busy week where I didn't even get to read lj didn't help much. So yeah, school is crazy! I guess this is what graduate school is really like (I guess I had it easy at OZ).

So I've heard jokes about cowboys and Wyoming... but really! We arrived in Cheyenne just in time for a huge RODEO! Cowboys everywhere. We saw a covered wagon golf shop in Nebraska and have had our first windmill sighting. Trip's going fairly well... even the cat has gotten used to the traveling. The Birdy and I survived the trip to CO. It was quite the trip to say the least. To put things in perspective, my mom has four older brothers. They were all at the reunion, their kids were all at the reunion, 9/10 of my generation was there and all 7 spouses. So, we leave for Co tomorrow morning. Early. This should be an interesting trip. My mother, the Birdy and I in a car for 9+ hours across western Ks and up into the mountains.
