I just got back from seeing The Cabin in the Woods.

It's like... Joss Whedon & Co. made a horror film.

Seriously.

Just exactly like that.

If you appreciate the genre, even a little, you really should go see it.

Hah! Paul was freakin' awesome. Seriously. Haven't laughed that much in a while!

Hannah was also a nice solid 'good'.

But seriously... for geeks? Nerds? Oh hell yeah, Paul was great.

I managed to catch a matinee of Battle: Los Angeles. It was big explody fun. Not a great movie by any stretch, but a good summer 'blockbuster', full of shooting, grunting, manliness, and blowing shit up. MARIIINES. And hooyah. A few days ago we went to go see our Most Excellent Friend RoadRich (beepbeep) performing in a Lion Dance at the Asian American Cultural Center.
