A few days ago we went to go see our Most Excellent Friend RoadRich (beepbeep) performing in a Lion Dance at the Asian American Cultural Center. I'd never seen one in person before, and it was really quite awesome. What a lot of work it must be, too, they had to trade off parts often, even in the nice cool weather we were having. Glad we finally got to see him perform!
Bfly caught some horrible head-cold thing, and in her ever-generous way, shared it with me. So we've both been dee ee ehd for a few days now. Bleaugh.
I'm very chuffed... my copy of Ночной дозор (aka Nochnoy dozor, aka Night Watch) came in! It's the russian version, which means... it's coded for the russian region. Which means... I'm extra happy we have a region free DVD player. :) If you haven't seen this, and the second of the series (Day Watch), and you like explody surrealist action a-la Wanted, you really should see this. I have no idea if this version has subtitles or not, yet... I don't really care. :)
Also, Kimbo is ebul, for sharing the new Transformers sewperbawl promo.
AUGH! What's this? Vin D's doing a new Fast & Furious? Whhyyyyyyy? ... and when can I see it?
