I decided to make a steampunk wizard costume, and I wanted a spellbook to go with it. I decided on my D&D 3.5 Spell Compendium, which I leather-bound, and then attached various awesome to. The result:
A while ago, I had noticed some steampunk sneaking into Neopets of all places. Just a bit at first. One of the games called the Haunted Shooting Gallery had the look.
In City of Heroes & Villains, you can open up slots for new costumes as you progress through the game's levels. One of my characters just hit level 30 and opened up a new slot so I designed her a Steampunk Hero look using some technology and cyborg components. ( Game screen captures )
A thing I haven't seen mention of in this group is Myst (and subsequent games). They could reasonably be defined as steampunk (mixed with fantasy in some cases), and they're jam-packed with awesome visuals
