I decided to make a steampunk wizard costume, and I wanted a spellbook to go with it. I decided on my D&D 3.5 Spell Compendium, which I leather-bound, and then attached various awesome to. The result:

Now I'm beginning to make more of these books, starting with the 3.5 Tome of Magic. Eventually, I'd like to do GURPS Magic, Arcane Power (D&D 4e), Mage: the Awakeneing/Ascension, etc., but for now I have easy access to 3.5 D&D books (Complete Arcane, Draconomicon, The Book of Vile Darkness and The Book of Exalted Deeds all lend themselves nicely to this).
Here's a picture of the Tome of Magic so far:
And a closeup of the gears:

So that's all for my adventures in steampunking D&D books/spellbooks so far. But, I also need something to do with them all, since I only need one spellbook for my costume, so I'm also wondering if there is any interest from others in aquiring one of these (i.e. is it worth trying to sell them or not?).
