Bobby was put down today.

Update from the vet:
"We performed the necropsy on Bobby today. The main lesion was seen in the lungs. He had multiple small nodules throughout the lung lobes, which were most likely a form of cancer as we discussed (probably lymphoma) that spread to the lungs. Bobby has been behaving strangely this past week. He hasn't been as active as he usually is, and he's been unusually sleepy. Today I kept checking on him because I just felt something was weird. His breathing seemed very very odd. So I called the vet's emergency number, and I was lucky enough that he hadn't gone out of town for the holiday yet. My ( Read more... )

Bobby is doing better and his tush is pretty much healed. I haven't gotten back the results for Bobby's cancer test yet, but they should be in soon. I did get the results for the adrenal gland test back and its postive. So, depending on the results of the cancer test, I'll know when he can have the surgery to get the glands removed ( Read more... )
