Ah, home. I think I am recovered from our vacation, having taken a complete break yesterday. Yes, an actual go away for a few days and have fun somewhere type of vacation. Yeah, I've been home for awhile, but am slow in getting back into the "real world" after the weekend playing with the SCA at Great Western War. I am now working on dishes and laundry, trying to get this house back into order (yeah, right).

Baronial meeting went well, as almost always. Looks like not only will the Baroness step down in the fall (after nearly 5 years), but so will the Herald/Lists lady, who is looking for a new Herald and a List person. I was talked into going to the Ren Symposium, since Margo Anderson offered to help refit me in my Tudor bodice. And I was offered to share a room for Saturday night at the hotel. This weekend was a fun getaway for the most part, especially getting away from the heat. We spent part of Saturday driving to the San Jose area, and spent the afternoon and evening with the_vampkitty, keyfox, and Cat/Munchkin. Oh I so enjoyed the cool breezes that were blowing through the area. ( cut because it is long... )

I will travel to Southern Faire next year to visit Gay Linn (or at least wave hello while she processess past). Ah, almost forgot, she always has children's court, so we must make it to children's court so she can see our two bairns. Gads, now I don't remember if she knows about our baby girl or not! Well, the weekend was a good thing for me. c0demonkey and I took off by ourselves to the central coast, and basically just vegged a bit on the beach, sans Cam.
